My feet is killing but i Loved this day by Priscila Teixeira, talkingfashion

Another crazy great work day. Today was extra special as the city hosted 2 fashion show events!!

First, Vintage Fashion Show at CMA (which was very fun to be part of it plus some great artedellamoda accessories went down the runway), later Dress for Success/FGI Fashion Show (which I missed bo! cant do it all.. bummer..).

Anyhow, aside from running behind the scenes since 9am on my luxboheme/parladimoda signature skyscraper shoes by designer Fernando Pires, I also got some work done on the new fashion shows we are putting together in downtown Columbus:
  • luxboheme fashion show art party on Oct 13
  • highball on Oct 30 (kids fashion show is what we are in charge, but there will be the professional fashion show also happening that evening. Mark your calendar for both!)
  • TJ Horst Trunk Show on Nov 11
Is your head turning and now thinking about the Columbus Fashion Week happening this Oct? We might be there too..Anyways, days like today make me think about running events FT and have other talents running the shops... I am excited and curious for the future. Thanks all of you out there who made this a fashionable fabulous day. Goodnight Columbus! Priscila Teixeira

TALKINGFASHION PRESS RELEASE

Luxboheme is Fashion Hub for International Audience

Inventory caters to fashion explorers who value whimsy, glamour

Columbus, OHIO (Sept. 9, 2010) -- Meet Priscila Teixeira. She is the creator of talkingfashion – a fashion hub that embraces all the aspects of the fashion industry that she loves from the artists who transfer their ideas into reality to the materials that they use. “I will do everything in my power to help those talented artists to keep creating,” Priscila said. “Providing them with a venue to show and sell their handmade art is my way to support the growth of these artists and all the beautiful things that they give life to.”

Customers know Priscila for her eclectic tastes and passion for style that lets them create a look that is uniquely theirs. With more than 25 years in the fashion industry, she is a trusted resource for bringing the best of the vintage, handmade and high style to people who are intrepid fashion explorers. She is their fearless guide.

Her customers like the designers she features span the globe. She works from a showroom in a former downtown Columbus dance club that has been transformed into office space. Enter her showroom through a worn carriage house door. Step up from the street into another world. This is where she caters to her online customers, hosts fashion events that showcase young vibrant stylists who view their fashion as art and introduces a growing local clientele to spark their own fashion sense with a bit of whimsy or glamour. "Columbus is a great city full of amazing artists and great people,” Priscila said. “I believe that bringing people to a fun environment in downtown gives incentive to increase diversity and therefore individual style".

Luxboheme merchandise is easily characterized as Fashion Art and Recycled Fashion that is a blend of vintage materials and ageless designs. The showroom is equally eclectic as it features wall art by Andy Ball and the 1800s jewelry display cases from the recently closed Bizantium. The cases are filled with the work of  such local designers as Kristi Ross and Barb Wallace along with a worldwide selection of handmade accessories and jewelry imported from Brazil, France, England, Italy, South Africa, to name a few.
